The team at SFW Conservation is proud to officially launch the SFW Conservation Experience - a 10-day immersive journey into the heart of wildlife conservation in South Africa. This unique program invites guests to walk alongside African wildlife, engage directly with the experts protecting them, and gain a firsthand understanding of the challenges and triumphs of conservation work in the Greater Kruger area.
Hosted at our home base, the Shindzela Wildlife Reserve in Hoedspruit, South Africa, the experience combines meaningful fieldwork, cultural exchange, and unforgettable wildlife encounters. Participants will take part in daily excursions with SFW’s local conservation partners, from ranger units and wildlife veterinarians to grassroots educators and wildlife rehabilitation experts. Whether you're heading out on a game drive at sunset, crafting jewelry from recovered snares, or learning about wildlife tracking efforts, every activity is designed to deepen your understanding of conservation while you make a tangible impact on our everyday work and cause.
What makes this experience especially powerful is our commitment to “traveling with purpose”. Each visit includes a direct donation to the organizations you engage with, ensuring your presence supports long-term, community-led conservation solutions. You'll not only learn from passionate experts on the ground but also help amplify their efforts through your participation.
